Okay, so at first I think I was in the same frame of mind as a LOT of other users on here. I was a bit panicked at the thought that the main place to show my art was changing so drastically, and let's face it, the early version of Eclipse did nothing to stave off that fear. In fact it just added to it. Now, several months on and billions of updates later, I think they're getting there. I have been switched over to Eclipse for a few days now, just to see if it works for me, and to be honest, after a while of getting used to the new format, I'm actually liking it! Sorry if that's not a popular opinion, but everyone has their own individual thoughts on things, and this is just mine. I like the way it presents my work in a relatively simple and uncluttered way. I like the fact that you can add sections quite easily and move them up or down to suit your preference. I like black! It's my favourite colour. So I decided to give it a go after reading several people making lots of complains and fuss about it. I was kinda curious to see what was so bad about it but... I love it? I don't understand what's wrong with it. It's different, and being used to the previous interface I understand it can be hard to use or get used to it. But. There are several things that I see as an improvement and that I wanted to mention: It's cleaner. In first place, you don't have to click on the drawings because you can't really see what's going on. I love that specially. Everything is bigger, easier to read and approach. Notifications are also easier to read across and you can even give back llamas or watchback without having to enter the deviant's page. This saves several time, specially when you receive plenty of llamas like me. Sometimes I have to erase all notifications because the number is overwhelming. Writting journals or descriptions of drawings have become easier and more interactive. More fun! While

So where do I write? Oh, here :D Hi, This is a bit of a test. I'm trying to see how a big journal would appear on my page, specifically my Eclipse page, but why waste a journal when I can write about something very relevant. By the way, I have absolutely no idea who will see this, and, if it falls flat on it's arse and wrecks my page when it pops up there's a very strong possibility that this will be deleted....anyways... From a few things that I've read I get the impression that not everyone on DA has access yet to Eclipse. As a new starter I've been fortunate to get it within 24 hrs of joining but I also believe that not everyone is happy with it. I am also aware that it is not visible to anyone off site or when not logged in, or at least that is my experience. For what it's worth I've jumped straight in and personally find it a much more enjoyable interface, its clean, bright, fresh and showing my and others work extremely well.
